The
Mission of Saint Jude Parish is spreading the message of Jesus Christ,
administering the Sacraments, and exercising Charity. This will be
accomplished
prayerfully through welcoming all to join us in Faith.
PARISH VISION
Our
Parish Vision will assist St. Jude Parish in serving in the best
possible way our "Parish Family" on the path to serving and praising
God. Our Parish Vision will:
- Preach, live, and faithfully practice
Catholicism.
- Provide
Catholics and non-Catholics in Eastern Spotsylvania County with a
Christian philosophy that is spiritual, living, and active.
- Provide
Catholics a Community that is Sacred, Holy, and supportive in order for
them to realize and complete God's will for each of them.
- Provide Masses,
Sacraments, Christian training, activities, and guidance to
serve the needs of our Parishoners.
- Provide
our Parishoners a prayer base and Christian values with the
ability and opportunities to follow in Jesus' footsteps.
- Enable our Parishoners to share in their
time, talent, and treasure to fulfill God's work.
- Encourage
our Parishoners to be good Evangelists of the Catholic Faith by
encouraging each person to be active and helpful in our
community to
those of all Faiths.
- Provide social services and support,
both spiritual and financial, to people in need.
- Be spokepersons for Christian values in
a secular world under the direction of the Bishop of the Arlington
Diocese.
